Notification preferences
Control which email notifications Biller sends you. Turn on the alerts that are useful and turn off the ones that aren't.
Available notifications
Biller offers the following notification types, each of which can be toggled on or off independently:
| Notification | What it does |
|---|---|
| Payment alerts | Sends you an email each time a forwarded e-Transfer is parsed and a new payment is recorded |
| Invoice tracking | Notifies you when a client views or fills out an invoice you sent |
| Weekly summary | A weekly email summarizing your payment activity for the past seven days |
| Monthly summary | A monthly email with your payment totals and trends for the past month |
How to change your preferences
To update your notification settings:
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Toggle each notification type on or off using the switches
- Your changes are saved automatically
Changes take effect immediately. For example, if you turn off payment alerts, you won't receive an email the next time a forwarded e-Transfer is parsed -- but the payment will still be recorded as usual.
Stay on top of your payments
If you use auto-forwarding and want to know the moment a payment is recorded, keep payment alerts turned on. The weekly and monthly summaries are also a good way to review your earnings at a glance without signing in.
