Repeating jobs

For regular clients, like Monday, Wednesday, and Friday walks or a lesson every other Thursday, set up a repeating schedule once. Biller keeps the next four weeks of jobs on your schedule.

Setting up a repeating job

  1. Go to Schedule and click Schedule a job
  2. Pick the client and service
  3. Set the Scheduled start with both a date and a time. The date is when the schedule starts, and the time is used for every job.
  4. Under Repeats, choose Weekly or Every 2 weeks
  5. Under On these days, pick one or more days. If you don't pick any, Biller uses the weekday of the start date.
  6. Add any notes, then save

The schedule then appears under Repeating at the top of the Schedule page, with a summary like "Mon · Wed · Fri at 11:00 AM" or "Every 2 weeks: Thu at 9:30 AM".

Set a typical duration on the service
If the service has a Typical duration, each repeating job gets an end time to match. See Your services.

How jobs are added

When you save, Biller adds jobs for the next 28 days right away. After that, it checks once a day and adds more, so your schedule always reaches about four weeks ahead. Jobs from a repeating schedule show a small repeat icon on the Schedule page.

Repeating jobs work like any other job: you complete them, they get day-before reminders, and they bill the usual way. Biller doesn't send a booking confirmation email for each job it adds.

There's no end date and no way to edit the pattern. To change the days or time, remove the schedule and set up a new one.

Changing one job

To change a single job, open it from the Schedule page. You can Reschedule it, or cancel it under Didn't happen? Cancel or no-show. The rest of the schedule doesn't change.

A job you cancel or reschedule isn't added back later. Each date in the pattern only ever gets one job.

Pausing and resuming

Under Repeating on the Schedule page, hover over a schedule (on a computer) to see its buttons.

  • Pause stops new jobs from being added. Jobs already on the schedule stay there, so cancel any you don't want. A paused schedule shows a Paused badge.
  • Resume starts adding jobs again from today, four weeks ahead. Dates that already have a job, including cancelled ones, aren't filled again.

Removing a repeating schedule

  1. Under Repeating on the Schedule page, click Remove on the schedule
  2. Confirm

This deletes the schedule and its jobs that are still scheduled from today onward. Completed jobs are kept.

Removing deletes today's job too
If today's job from this schedule isn't marked complete yet, removing the schedule deletes it. Complete it first if the work is already done.
