Your booking page

Every business in Biller gets a public booking page. Share the link and clients can ask for work without creating an account. Each request lands in your Requests inbox for you to approve, decline, or suggest another time.

What the booking page is

Your booking page is a short form at a web address unique to your business. It's a way for clients to request work. It isn't a live calendar: nothing is booked until you act on the request.

The wording follows the industry you picked for your business. A dog walking business says "Book a walk", a tutoring business says "Book a lesson", and in those two industries the Requests inbox is called Bookings.

What clients see

The page shows your business name and a short intro line, then a form with:

  • What do you need?: a dropdown of your active services. Only the names are shown, not prices. This only appears if you have at least one active service.
  • Your name and Email: always required
  • Preferred date & time: optional for the client, and you can hide it
  • A notes box, such as "Anything we should know?": optional for the client, and you can hide it

The form also runs a quick "are you human" check to keep spam out. After the client sends the request, they see a confirmation that you'll follow up by email.

If the email they enter matches one of your existing clients, the request is linked to that client. If not, Biller adds a new client using the name and email they entered.

Booking settings

To change what the page says and asks for, open Requests and click the gear icon at the top of the page. Use View live to open your booking page in a new tab.

Under Booking page:

  • Intro line: the sentence under your business name. Leave it blank to use the default.
  • Notes question: the label on the notes box
  • Confirmation message: what clients see after they send a request. Leave it blank for the default.
  • Ask for a preferred date & time: turn this off if you'd rather follow up and pick a time yourself
  • Require a service choice: clients must pick a service before they can send the request
  • Show the notes field: turn this off to hide the notes box

Under Declining, Preset decline reasons is the list of reasons you can pick from when you decline a request. Put one reason on each line.

Under Notifications, Email me when a request arrives sends you an email for each new request. It's on by default.

Click Save when you're done.

Keep your services list tidy
The dropdown on your booking page lists every active service. To hide a service from clients without deleting it, edit it and untick Active. See Your services.

After someone sends a request

New requests show up under Pending in your Requests inbox, and the Home page shows how many are waiting. From there you can approve, decline, or suggest a different time. See Handling booking requests.
